So
So Grandma's marathon is in two days.

So I guess I'm tapering.

So shouldn't I be having a little bit of taper madness? That's my thing. It's what I do.

But I'm not. I'm not going to PR, so I've allowed myself to just go with the flow and enjoy the ride.

Because marathons should be fun.

Running 26.2 miles is fun.

Blistered feet are fun.

Sore muscles are fun.

Right? RIGHT??

Maybe you've run enough marathons now that taper madness won't happen anymore. Either that or you're so exhausted you don't have the energy for a freakout. :)

yayyyy have fun!!!! I had the BEST time in SD when I was just running for fun. I think its a great relief every so often not to try to PR and just go with the flow :)

Seriously . . . I am in the process of trying to figure out why I force myself to do these marathon things. But hey, best of luck to you! You're going to basically kick ass, I can tell!
