I apologize, Internet. I left you hanging after the poll on what I should race this spring.
The results are in...
The Liberty Half Ironman is out. When I'm honest with myself, I will admit that I was really just doing Liberty to impress a boy. Since it is my policy to lie to myself, the official story is that "I am a runner, and I'd rather do a marathon than a triathlon."
So that means that the Stillwater Marathon is IN.
So, for those of you keeping track at home, here is my Official Spring Race Schedule:
May 9 - Fargo Half Marathon
May 24 - Stillwater Marathon
June 20 - Grandma's Marathon
July 26 - Chisago Half Ironman Triathlon
And for those hardcore stalkers, here is my Official Tentative Fall Race Schedule:
August 7-8 - Wild West Relay
August 21-22 - Great River Relay
September 7 - Victory 10k
October 4 - Twin Cities Marathon
October 10 - Whistlestop Marathon
October 18 - Des Moines Marathon
(Yes, that's three marathons in a row. No, I'm not ready to talk about it.)
So, running. And training. I've been doing it. I ran a 15 miler this weekend with my favorite peeps...and MAN ALIVE, did it feel GOOD. I was starting to wonder when I would start to feel like my old running self...and I think it finally happened this weekend. Our pace was all over the place, but we ended strong.
Distance: 15.14 miles
Pace: 10:33
Average HR: 160
Three words to describe this run: I Am Back!

Wow. That is a hardcore schedule, but sounds like you are on the right track to absolutely kill 'em all!
For those keeping track at home, I think you be crazy. Crazy hardcore, that is!!!!!!
Also, none of your races are in Cali. :(
I'm tired just READING your schedule ... I am so impressed!
OMG, three in a row? I seriously think I gasped out loud, LOL.
I am probably doing TCM too. But was on the fence about Whistlestop. No way I'm doing both, however!!
So fun that you'll be at Stillwater. Cheers!!
