More whining...less swearing
Yesterday's kettlebell workout was BRUTAL. It was our hardest workout yet...and it completely kicked my ass...tronaut (oh yeah, just remembered that I gave up swearing for Lent. Again.).

The workout was hard, but it was fantastic.

And today? I'm paying the price. Every inch of me is angry. I hit the pool before work and I felt it with every stroke (TWSS). My core. My shoulders. My arms (hello, triceps!!). My quads.

I hurt. I'm tired.

I want nothing more than to peace out this bitch...um...thing...and go home and take a nap.

Which really isn't a bad idea. I need my rest...because guess what starts this weekend?

MARATHON TRAINING.

Because training for a triathlon just wasn't enough. :)

Get some rest tonight!

And I say replace all swearing with TWSS jokes and you should be just fine!

Kettlebells rock! Don't worry, it will get easier and you'll become less sore the more you do them :-) Good luck with the marathon training! I have to admit I'm not going to miss those 20 milers this season ;-) See you in the pool or on the road sometime!

Good luck with the double training. And, even more so, the not swearing. ;)

You are a machine! Best of luck with the marathon training . . . I'm just starting a new round of marathon training as well (cue the foreboding music) . . . but I'm not quite as badass as you, so mine is being done sans additional triatholon training! Good luck :)

Ouch! I've done those kettlebell workouts and they are a b*tch! But they do really pay off at the end of a race when you are tired and your core gets to help out.

Best of luck with your m training.
