I just had to sneak in one last run before I left for vacation - and I'm glad I did. It was PERFECT.
Perfect weather - sunny, no wind, gorgeous. It felt great. I felt great.
I always run on the same paths - around the lakes by my apartment. I've always wanted to walk on the frozen lake, but never did it. I was too busy running, or too paranoid that I'd fall in, or by the time I was done running I was ready to head inside. But today, I did it. I figured that this would be the last time I'd have the chance this year - I'm hoping that when I get home from Colorado that Minnesota will be snow and ice free. Ha!
