(Or My God this title is horrible)
Yesterday's long run was tough.
It was windy. My joints were tired. I was really feeling it in my knees and hips. I must have gone into shock at mile 5 (or maybe my Clif Gel was laced with painkillers) because I didn't seem to notice the pain as much during the last 6 miles.
After the run, I felt amazing mentally. I just ran 11 miles! I love that feeling. That's the feeling that keeps me coming back for more.
Physically, I was wiped. I sat in an ice bath for a few minutes and then headed to they gym to hit the sauna. And then I came home and relaxed with a good book. My life is so unexciting. :)
