I was somehow convinced (by E) to try the Bootcamp class at her gym. At 6 o'clock. In the morning. My night-owl self hasn't seen 5:15am since the Clinton administration.
But I sucked it up and managed to get up, eat a quick breakfast and pick up E, all by 5:45.
I was a little nervous about the class. It is called bootcamp. And I had knee bootcamp last night until 9pm, so I had worked out for an hour and a half within 12 hours of the morning class. I was worried that my body would be a little pissed off...but it actually behaved itself. It was a nice workout. Nothing I couldn't handle. Not too brutal (Except for the pushups. I have the upper body strength of a 12-year-old girl). I even kind of forgot that it was so early and was actually enjoying myself. Morning workouts? Not so horrible.
At 7am I was thinking "Hey – this morning workout thing isn't so bad!"
At 8am I was thinking "I have so much energy! I should work out every morning!"
At 9am I was thinking "Someone please kill me. I want to take a nap. Can I have an IV drip of caffeine?"
So while the act of working out at 6am wasn't so horrible, the act of staying awake at the office is a challenge. I am definitely not a morning exerciser.

I'm with you, I'm great at morning exercise as long as I have nothing to do afterwards .... except nap.
Good for you for getting out twice in 12 hours!
