Thought I should give the always popular "100 things" list a shot...
1. Hi...my name is Allison
2. I have two brothers, one sister-in-law, and one future sister-in-law
3. And also two parents
4. They're my role models
5. I'm the middle child and the only girl
6. My mom is one of eleven children
7. My family is the coolest
8. We all get along
9. Pretty crazy, considering how many there are of us
10. I have a cat named Roxie
11. She's the boss
12. I am obsessed with shoes and purses
13. I have over 100 pairs of shoes
14. I compulsively collect athletic socks, underwear, and tank tops
15. Probably because I avoid doing laundry at all costs
16. I also have quite the candle collection
17. Which is weird, because I rarely burn candles
18. Most of them chill out in a bin under my bed
19. I think I'm going on a self-imposed candle ban, starting now
20. I went to a Catholic school until 7th grade
21. I was the 6th grade spelling bee champ
22. There were only six people in my 6th grade class
23. So I guess that's not so impressive
24. I have two tattoos and a pierced belly button
25. My parents don't know about the second tattoo
26. And it's on my inner wrist
27. You think they'd notice it
28. But it's in white ink...Incognito
29. I used to have a tongue ring
30. I took it out because I thought I would look "more professional" without it
31. Sometimes I miss it
32. I love office supplies
33. Especially pens and tape
34. I subscribe to seven magazines
35. I don't read most of them in a timely manner
36. Except for Us Weekly
37. I usually start reading that one as soon as I pull it from the mailbox
38. Jessica Simpson annoys the crap out of me
39. It annoys me when celebritiess complain about being in the spotlight
40. "You decided to pursue fame. You have no right to complain. So I'm going to read every detail about your life and talk about it with my friends."
41. I love Mexican food
42. Especially chips and salsa
43. And Italian food
44. Especially pesto
45. I'm not a picky eater
46. But I'm very consciouss about what I eat
47. I live in Minnesota
48. I've always lived in the Midwest
49. Winters are f'ing cold here
50. I want to move to Colorado so I can ski every weekend
51. Actually, I want to quit my job and become a lift attendant...then I can ski every day
52. It's good to have lofty goals
53. I like to sew
54. I make my own Halloween costumes
55. Let me know if you have any good costume ideas
56. I'd like to learn how to knit
57. I like to shop
58. Sephora and Target are my favorite stores
59. And also Aldo...and DSW...and H&M
60. I am a computer nerd
61. But not too nerdy
62. At least that's what I tell myself
63. I became a runner in December of 2005
64. Since then it has consumed my life
65. Who knew running could be so addicting?
66. As of 10/06, I've run four 5ks, one 10k, and one half marathon
67. I'd like to run a marathon someday.
68. I'm thinking that someday is June 16, 2007 (Grandma's)
69. Even though I've never run a marathon, my secret goal is to qualify for the Boston marathon
70. Good thing I'm young...I have several years to get fast enough
71. Until I became one, I thought runners were crazy
72. I am not a morning person
73. I wish I was
74. It would be convenient to run in the mornings
75. But I can't seem to drag my ass out of bed to work out
76. Which is fine in the summer, but it makes winter running difficult
77. Because I don't like running in the dark
78. I've never broken a bone or had stitches
79. I've never been to the hospital, except to visit
80. My number one pet peeve is people throwing cigarette butts out their car windows
81. But I think it's ok to throw apple cores out of car windows
82. I imagine a bird or a wild animal eating it
83. I'm just trying to help the animals!!
84. I have curly hair
85. I didn't realize it until I was 23
86. I just thought it was kind of wavy and unruly
87. Life is so much easier now that I wear my hair curly
88. Never underestimate the power of a good stylist
89. I'm not interested in politics
90. I would like to memorize all of the states
91. In alphabetical order
92. And also all of their capitols
93. I think the song "Fifty Nifty United States" will help
94. I played the flute in high school
95. I wasn't very good, but I had fun playing it
96. I'd like to own a piccolo someday
97. I'd probably never play it for anyone but myself
